Job Summary
The Automotive Glass Repair Technician, under the direction of the Collision Centre Production Manager, is responsible for the removal, repair, and installation of automotive glass components in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. This role ensures vehicles are restored to OEM, MPI, and Crown quality standards with precision and efficiency. Operating under a flat-rate pay structure, the Automotive Glass Repair Technician is expected to perform accurate, safe, and timely repairs while upholding Crown Karma values and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Safely remove, repair, and install automotive glass, ensuring compliance with OEM, MPI, and Crown quality standards.

Perform chip repairs, resealing, and full glass replacements with accuracy and efficiency.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the work area.

Properly handle and care for tools, equipment, and materials required for glass repairs.

Achieve or exceed flat-rate production expectations while maintaining high-quality standards.

Communicate with production and CSR teams to ensure timelines and customer expectations are met.

Demonstrate strong attention to detail in fit, finish, and installation accuracy.

Attend daily production meetings and performance reviews as required.

Participate in ongoing training to remain current with industry, MPI, and OEM repair standards.

Respect all vehicles, equipment, and peers, contributing to a safe and professional workplace.
