Reporting to the Shipping Receiving supervisor/ Production Manager the Forklift operator will be responsible for safely transporting the products to various locations within the production plant as well as loading transport trucks. It is expected that this position will also fill in or assist in with other roles as needed.

Key Responsibilities: • Expedient service of all the necessary materials to the filling/packaging lines. • Organized receiving of materials and shipping of finished goods. • Timely and accurate completion of all required Shipping and Receiving documentation. • Awareness and understanding of the production schedule. • Warehouse inventory management. (In league with the Production Supervisor) • Strictly adhering to and follow all safety policies and procedures as outlined in the company policy and training sessions. • Maintain strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) • Compliance with the company’s Production and Quality standards. • Compliance with the company's Health, Safety, requirements. • Other duties as assigned, which may include filling in or assisting with other roles such as General Labour, Batching, etc.

Qualifications: • Good communications skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work in a team environment and individually. • Ability to work in a fast – paced environment and have problem-solving critical thinking skills.

• Environmental awareness and possesses good attention to detail. Must be able to follow work instructions and all standard operating procedures. • Possesses technical and mechanical aptitude. • Excellent time management skills and organizational skills. Familiar with 5S and other organizational tools. • Ability to learn how to operate multiple pieces of equipment and trouble shoot. • Ability to perform physically demanding work. Able to lift 50 lbs.
