About the role
A consulting firm specializing in information technology services, our client supports its clients in implementing innovative technological solutions to drive growth and operational efficiency. Are you a rigorous, proactive, and results-oriented finance professional? A rapidly growing company is seeking a Controller to structure its financial operations and support its expansion strategy. Reporting directly to senior management, you will play a key role in accounting and budget management.

Tasks
- Supervise general accounting, monthly and annual closings, and financial statement preparation.
- Develop and monitor budgets, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to support decision-making.
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financing requests.
- Ensure legal and tax compliance (GST/QST, tax credits, pay equity, etc.).
- Lead the annual audit process and strengthen internal controls.
- Provide ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic decisions.
- Oversee a small team (accounting, HR, administration) and supervise administrative functions.
- Participate in optimization and transformation projects (e.g., automation, system integration).
- Perform other related duties as required.

Job requirements
- Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of Business Central ERP (Microsoft Dynamics).
- Proven ability to analyze financial reports and provide strategic recommendations
- CPA designation (an asset).
- Knowledge of R&D tax credits (an asset).
