The Analyst, Sustainability & Performance Reporting will play an essential role in supporting our corporate level reporting, including quarterly KPI reporting, annual sustainability & ESG reporting as well as strategic initiatives being progressed by the Sustainability team. This support also includes benchmarking, best practice review, data analysis and preparing briefings and summaries as required.
What You Get to Do:
Sustainability and ESG Support
- Assist Senior Analysts in data collection, consolidation and analysis of quarterly and annual Sustainability KPI data, development of dashboards and implementation of process improvements
- Support the execution of ESG strategy, including analysis of results, forecasting, scenario analysis, and preparing summary reports
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team to support Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions quantification, consolidation, and reporting
- Aid in the implementation and administration of internal controls processes for non-financial data
Benchmarking and Briefing
- Conduct benchmarking assessment of peers, summarize findings and provide briefings to team members to enable strategic decisions
- Research and summarize evolving international standards, guidelines, and best practices in sustainability and ESG reporting, such as the GHG Protocol, SASB, TCFD, GRI, UN SDG’s, ISSB etc.
- As requested, prepare briefing documents for senior management on material topics and strategic initiatives
Sustainability Reporting and Support

Assist with the preparation of sustainability & ESG reporting data and content, including reviewing calculation methodology, tracking of subject matter input, and data aggregation

Support senior advisor(s) on internal engagement with subject matter experts and business units

Ad hoc support as required, including communications, internal audit, and administrative
What You Bring:
-
You have an undergraduate or master’s degree in Sustainability, Finance, Accounting, Environmental Sciences, or a related discipline
-
3+ years of relevant experience in sustainability & ESG reporting or a related field
-
Strong analytical skills as well as the ability to research and summarize complex information to make strategic recommendations
-
Demonstrates commitment to achieving development goals and ongoing personal growth
-
Well-developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
-
Excellent planning, time management, project management, and organizational skills
-
Strong track record of successfully working in teams, and a proven ability to collaborate with others
-
Demonstrated skills in reporting, measuring, and assessing metrics
-
Skilled at handling multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, with expertise in Excel
-
Experience with Workiva and/or Oracle reporting programs are strong assets
-
Working knowledge of existing sustainability & ESG best practices, environment legislation and reporting, regulation, and audit and internal controls would be assets
