Medicine Hat College invites applications for casual Invigilators to work a variety of shifts from Monday through Saturday for the period December 3, 2025, to January 10, 2026, with the possibility to extend to the winter exam period (April 30, 2026).
A little about the role:
Reporting to the Coordinator, Scheduling and Transfer Services, the Invigilators’ (Teacher Aide I) primary area of responsibility is to supervise students during examinations. Duties include invigilator services during examinations; monitoring of test candidates to make sure that all testing rules are followed appropriately before, during and after testing; and to assist with the safe keeping of all candidate valuables for the duration of the exam.
Details:
As a successful applicant you'll have:
- Grade XII
- Previous experience working with the public to administer tests or examinations is beneficial.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
- First Aid certificate would be an asset
- Flexible schedule and ability to deal with varying examination requirements and times.
Terms of Employment
Term of Appointment: December 3, 2025, to January 10, 2026 (with possibility of extension)
Hours of Work: Up to 35 hours per week, as scheduled
Wage Rate: $16.99 per hour (Start Rate); $18.48 per hour (Job Rate)
