About the role:

You will be accountable for shaping the strategic direction and driving execution excellence across Fiserv Canada’s payments product portfolio. This role is ideal for an accomplished leader with deep experience delivering complex, multi‑stream payments, digital, and modernization initiatives — and who excels in portfolio governance, stakeholder alignment, and cross‑functional leadership.

Experience with the Canadian payment's ecosystem (Interac, Payments Canada, card networks) is an asset

What you'll do:

.

  • Define the long‑term strategy, roadmap, and prioritization framework for major payments initiatives spanning in-person payments, digital payments, software, merchant experiences, and value‑added services.
  • Be the connective tissue internally to turn enterprise objectives into executable product and delivery strategies across multiple business lines.
  • Drive end‑to‑end delivery governance for a portfolio of complex, multi‑stream payment programs, including budgeting, forecasting, resourcing, and milestone tracking.
  • Lead risk, escalation, and dependency management across technology, operations, compliance, and business partners to ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery.
  • Represent Fiserv’s product organization in strategic client discussions, industry forums, and cross‑enterprise decision‑making bodies.
  • Oversee enterprise‑scale platform modernization, system consolidation, and integration initiatives
  • Manage change impacts, testing/go‑live readiness, data migration, and compliance alignment across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Champion operational excellence through repeatable frameworks, continuous improvement practices, and end‑to‑end lifecycle accountability.
  • Lead and mentor product managers, delivery managers, and cross‑functional teams to strengthen execution rigor and drive a culture of accountability.
  • Coach teams on roadmap discipline, stakeholder communication, and delivery excellence in fast‑moving, regulated environments.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 10 years of progressive leadership experience in payments, digital transformation, platform modernization, or enterprise delivery.
  • Demonstrated success managing large‑scale, multi‑market, or multi‑product portfolios with significant budgets and executive visibility.
  • Strong understanding of payments technology, system integration patterns, regulatory considerations, and operational impacts.
  • Proven experience influencing executive stakeholders and leading steering committees.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Business (or related).

Experience that will be great to have:

  • Experience with Canadian payments ecosystem, including Interac, Payments Canada, and/or card network compliance (asset).
  • Background working with financial institutions, processors, loyalty programs, or omnichannel payment environments.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
  • Bilingual capability (English/French) is an asset

How you’ll work:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires the use of a computer and audio equipment.

  • No-cost, confidential support through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and household members

  • Comprehensive extended health care and vision benefits, plus dental coverage
  • Company-paid Basic Life and AD&D, with optional life and AD&D coverage available
  • Company-paid Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability income protection
  • Emergency medical coverage for out-of-province/out-of-country travel via extended health benefits

Note: Benefits may vary based on province, role, and eligibility, and are governed by the applicable plan documents.
