Salary (CAD): $98,000 to $115,300 annually This salary range reflects the expected starting salary based on qualifications and experience. This is not the full salary range for the position. Opportunities for growth within the full salary range are available in alignment with organizational policies and individual / organizational performance. The offer package provided to the successful candidate will be based on experience, qualifications and other relevant factors. Location: Remote in Canada

About The Role Health Standards Organization (HSO) is searching for an exceptional Senior Manager, Global Marketing who shares our passion for achieving quality health services for all. HSO works around the world (present in more than 40 countries) and identifies business opportunities to expand our markets in order to deliver quality health care for all.

As the Senior Manager, Global Marketing you will lead your team as you roll out the marketing vision across HSO by developing and executing the Enterprise marketing strategy. You will support the leadership team in promoting and advancing HSO and its affiliates brands and communicating our unique value proposition to our clients and stakeholders. This role is key in leading market research and competitive analysis developing product and content marketing strategies and overseeing corporate events.

Main Responsibilities

  • Leading a high performing team of marketing and communications professionals.
  • Staying on top of emerging trends, deepening corporate knowledge and strategizing to keep us ahead of the curve.
  • Unlock competitive insights through analysis to ensure differentiated marketing campaigns.
  • Developing corporate marketing strategies, as well as the coordination of product marketing and other corporate initiatives.
  • Simplifying complex topics and conveying big ideas so they are widely and clearly understood.
  • Building authentic and enduring relationships with staff, partners, and external stakeholders.

Must Have Qualifications

  • University degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field. Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing and/or communications experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience.
  • Strong track record of developing compelling and successful national and international integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Strong background in developing and executing marketing strategies.
  • Strong and demonstrated understanding of digital marketing trends, tools and techniques.
  • Business/financial experience (including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting and tracking ROI).
  • Proficient with CRM effectiveness.
  • Exceptional English communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Desired Qualifications

  • Have knowledge of, and experience in, health care sector and/or social marketing and communications.
  • A natural ability to inspire confidence and partner with leadership at all levels, internal and external to the organization.
  • Have experience building high performing and empowered teams.
  • Public and private sector experience, including entrepreneurial or start-up experience.
  • Have marketing experience in an international context.
  • Project management experience (PMP or related certification is an asset).
  • Have experience working with Net Promoter Score™ and related systems.
  • Fluent in English and French. Other languages (Italian, Spanish, Arabic) are an asset.

  • Complete our orientation program with other new hires to learn about HSO, our values of trust, inclusion, collaboration, innovation and learning, and our mission of quality improvement in healthcare and social services.
  • Set your performance and learning objectives for the year in collaboration with your people manager.
  • Meet regularly with your people manager to discuss your learning progression and alignment for your accountabilities.
  • Contribute to monthly leadership group meetings that focus on planning and operational issues.
  • Take on assigned initiatives or projects for your role.
