Salary Range: $27.53 - $27.86 /hour
It is understood that the hours of work reflect the current scheduling arrangements and are subject to change as determined by the Employer.
The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, maintaining and controlling Food and Nutrition Services inventories; monitoring refrigerator and freezer temperatures and maintaining acceptable and safe standards.
Essential Qualifications
- Secondary (High) School Diploma
- Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella, varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, COVID-19 and influenza.
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
- General understanding of computerized inventory systems
- Familiarity with pull and prep sheets
- Knowledge and experience in safe food handling
- Safe Food Handlers certification, or ability to obtain certification within six (6) months of hire
- Demonstrated computer skills particularly with Windows and email/scheduler programs
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a busy environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to work as a team player
- Health and physical condition consistent with constant bending, standing, walking or lifting up to 28 kg.
- Customer focused with the ability to meet the needs of both internal and external customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in French would be an asset
- Previous experience with CBORD
- Ability to operate an industrial forklift
Teaching and Research

Immunization Requirements
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella, varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, COVID-19 and influenza.
