AZ Driver | Full Time | $28.02/Hour | Sudbury, ON

**Route:**Sudbury → Mississauga → Sudbury

**Schedule:**Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM

**Experience Required:**Minimum 2 years of commercial driving

**Additional Requirements:**Hand bombing and tailgate deliveries using a pump cart

Position Overview

Cardinal Couriers is seeking a dedicated and reliable AZ Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading orders into a company vehicle and following a scheduled route to ensure timely and safe deliveries. This is a fast paced, physically demanding position that involves driving, lifting, lowering, and carrying packages while ensuring damage free delivery.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maneuver heavy trucks while following all traffic laws.
• Transport goods over long-distance routes and maintain on time delivery.
• Load cargo securely and ensure it is properly fastened to prevent movement.
• Unload shipments and verify quantities with delivery documentation.
• Navigate routes confidently, including unfamiliar areas.
• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections (brakes, tires, lights, etc.)
• Report maintenance concerns or mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate logs for hours, mileage, and deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and internal teams.
• Provide professional and courteous service at delivery sites.
• Follow all safety procedures and report incidents or violations immediately.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ License with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
• 2–3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Clean driver’s abstract and CVOR.
• Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Self motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Able to meet deadlines and maintain an organized work environment.
