About the role
Job Title: Sr FullStack Developer | Advisory role Location: Toronto, ON Contract 6 Months Role Overview The team is currently working on: Security vulnerability remediations GitHub SaaS migrations We are looking for a senior, hands-on developer who can: Build dashboards Support migration of GitHub repositories Contribute at both development and advisory architectural levels
Technical Skills Frontend / Full Stack: JavaScript TypeScript Python (FastAPI)
About the Product / Environment High-level architecture is already defined Focus is on improving internal code quality and implementation practices Candidate will: Identify better ways of using technologies (e.g., Python best practices) Suggest improvements such as proper use of constructs (e.g., enumerators, data structures) Enhance overall code standards based on experience and expertise
Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with the team to improve existing implementations Review, identify, and fix issues in current systems and codebases Provide guidance on best practices (e.g., coding approaches, design improvements) Actively contribute as a hands-on developer, not just in an advisory capacity Suggest and implement better approaches where existing solutions are suboptimal Support GitHub SaaS migration efforts and dashboard development
Role Nature This is a senior-level role, beyond just coding Requires a mix of: Hands-on development Architectural awareness Code quality improvement
