The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, visionary Director of Sales to provide strategic leadership and direction during this critical transformation period. This role will oversee revenue growth, margin performance, and market expansion , while building a customer-first, high-performance sales culture .

As a key member of the Canadian sales leadership team, you will:

  • Lead the transition of our sales organization into a solutions-focused, growth-driven model .
  • Champion Weston Forest’s bundled lumber and packaging solutions , positioning us as a trusted partner for industrial and OEM clients.
  • Develop and execute multi-year growth strategies into the assembled products segment, ensuring Weston Forest remains competitive and innovative.
  • Build organizational capability, mentor future leaders, and drive a culture of accountability and excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and execute a sales transformation roadmap aligned to Weston Forest’s growth strategy.
  • Oversee achievement of revenue, gross margin, and new market goals .
  • Build, coach, and scale a high-performing sales organization .
  • Forge strong partnerships with senior-level customers and industry stakeholders .
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to align customer needs with business capabilities.
  • Act as a strategic partner to executive leadership , influencing corporate direction.

What You Bring

  • 12–15+ years of progressive sales leadership, with 5+ years at Director or senior management level .
  • Proven success leading transformation or scaling sales organizations in wood products, lumber, packaging, or related B2B industries.
  • Track record of driving revenue and margin growth during times of change.
  • Strong financial acumen and pricing strategy .
  • Ability to inspire, coach, and retain top talent while shaping a high-performance culture.
  • Excellent executive presence and communication skills, with confidence engaging at the C-suite level.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or related discipline (MBA preferred).
