Description

Paladin Canada is seeking a Quality and Compliance Systems Manager to lead the successful delivery of the PLS Project, one of the world’s leading undeveloped uranium projects. In this influential role you will provide technical expertise to set the framework on how Paladin Canada delivers large-scale projects.

The role spans the full project lifecycle: FEED completion, engineering optimization, permitting support, construction, commissioning, handover to operations, and the establishment of enduring project management systems.

Reporting to the Director, Health, Safety, Environment and Regulatory Relations, this role oversees the Integrated Management System (IMS) and is responsible for delivering the project in compliance with the IMS while driving a strong safety culture of continuous improvement through all Project execution phases.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement and maintain the integrated management system aligned with CNSC requirements and relevant standards Establish the management of change processes for multi-disciplinary teams through all Project phases Provide expertise in risk management, inspection and audit and the management of change processes Champion a strong safety culture and provide technical expertise in risk management Implement the management system and track performance against objectives and targets Provide technical expertise in database management for document control and the non-conformance and corrective action processes to track incidents, audit findings and the corrective / preventive actions

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

To be successful in the role, the following is essential: 15+ years’ experience in the mining industry, preferably uranium or other technically complex underground and/or major processing plant developments Proven leadership in management system implementation Experienced in development and implementation of databases and reporting A strong focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement Values-aligned leadership style, demonstrating collaborative, respectful leadership consistent with Paladin’s values of Integrity, Courage, Respect, and Community Strong organizational and team-building capability for implementation of management system programs aligned with compliance obligations for health, safety, radiation and training Familiarity across Saskatchewan regulatory processes, Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) licensing, and northern operating environments Digital and systems proficiency, leveraging modern tools and technologies to support compliance, productivity, and data integrity Hold valid Canadian work rights Be able to successfully complete all pre-employment due diligence check
