Genesys is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Endpoint Engineering to lead our dynamic and globally distributed Endpoint Engineering team. This leader will be at the forefront of innovation in workplace computing, driving the architecture, engineering, and optimization of endpoint platforms across Windows, macOS, Ubuntu, iOS, and Android.

The role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership, ensuring security, performance, and user experience across 10,000+ corporate devices. The successful candidate will act as a mentor, coach, and thought leader, collaborating across IT and business units to deliver secure, seamless, and AI-driven solutions that enhance employee productivity in a mobile, Zero Trust, and geographically dispersed workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing global team of endpoint engineers.
  • Define and execute the endpoint strategy and technology roadmaps aligned with Genesys’ IT and business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on endpoint trends, risks, and opportunities.

Technical Execution

  • Oversee enterprise endpoint environments across Windows, macOS, Ubuntu, iOS, and Android using tools such as Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Jamf Pro, and Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Ensure effective deployment, configuration, patching, and lifecycle management of endpoints and third-party applications.
  • Drive automation and AI-powered solutions to improve device management, monitoring, and support outcomes.
  • Optimize endpoint experiences to maximize employee productivity and minimize downtime (e.g., improved remote reimaging processes).
  • Manage integration of endpoint platforms with enterprise systems, including security, networking, and collaboration tools.

Security & Compliance

  • Design and enforce endpoint security standards, including device encryption (BitLocker, FileVault), access controls, and threat detection.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX, Cyber Essentials, data protection standards, and support audit requirements.
  • Partner with security, infrastructure, and networking teams to deliver a robust Zero Trust endpoint environment.
  • Oversee initiatives such as removal of administrative rights and vulnerability remediation.

Innovation & Emerging Technologies

  • Research, evaluate, and implement emerging endpoint technologies, including AI-driven management and automation tools.
  • Partner across IT leadership to incorporate automation, data analytics, and AI into endpoint operations.
  • Explore sustainability and modern workplace initiatives to future-proof Genesys’ endpoint ecosystem.
  • Champion new technologies that enhance employee experience, stability, and security.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 7+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role managing technical teams.
  • Enterprise-level expertise in endpoint engineering and management across multiple operating systems (Windows, macOS, Ubuntu).
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise endpoint management tools (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Azure AD).
  • Proven track record of deploying, securing, and optimizing large-scale endpoint environments (10k+ devices).
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, global, and dynamic environments, including extended or weekend support as needed.

Preferred

  • Demonstrated experience applying AI and automation in endpoint management (e.g., AI-driven patching, anomaly detection, or predictive endpoint health monitoring).
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator, JAMF 300/400, ITIL, or CISSP.
  • Proficiency with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash) to automate endpoint workflows.
  • Experience with AWS VDI, advanced mobile device management, and enterprise integrations.
  • Proven success influencing executive stakeholders and driving IT strategy adoption.
