ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Posting deals New, Used, Wholesale, Fleet and Dealers Trades. Appx 250 deals in busy months

  • Ensuring all rebate receivables from manufacturers and other organizations are tracked and kept on record.

  • Reconcile various account balances.

  • Other office administration duties as assigned by Controller, helping Controller on month ends

  • Post licensing logs, F&I aftersales and daily fundings from DealerTrack

  • Daily/monthly schedules clean up

  • Manage Factory rebates

  • communicate with sales managers + GM on various discrepancies and regarding unit count to verify all deals received

  • Reconcile and make F&I warranty remittance cheques (FCPP, Optiom Plus, Auto Guard, etc.)

  • Chattel used vehicles on daily basis – List & back up received by Used car manager

  • Post all commissions

  • Reconcile Hold Back schedule

  • Floorplan reconciliation

  • RST reconciliation

  • Covering other candidates on vacation.

  • Lien payouts and maintain lien payables schedule.

  • Reconcile Deposit, VR and funding schedules on daily/weekly/monthly basis and follow up aging receivables with sales and fleet departments

  • This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Solid accounting mindset in accounting basics and open to learn.

  • Sensitive in number matching and reconciliation.

  • Ability to process mass volume of transactions efficiently.

  • Highly self-motivated individual, ability to work effectively under stress and deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and communication skills.

  • Well-organized and detail oriented.
