General Description
The Administrative Assistant, under the supervision of the Administrative Supervisor, ensures smooth and consistent delivery of services in accordance with our mission, philosophy, and procedures. The administrative assistant is expected to demonstrate courtesy, patience, and tact when dealing with clients and co-workers.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming and settling clients.
- Answering phones and responding to email communication.
- Scheduling appointments for clients.
- Taking payments.
- Managing direct billing (i.e., insurance).
- Data entry.
- Digitizing files.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Ability to prioritize tasks and problem-solve.
- Great attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new software.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Hours of Work
This position requires flexibility with scheduling, as it includes both weekday evening and daytime shifts. The role offers:
- 36 hours per week
- Temporary position with potential for permanent employment
