At our facility in Concord ON, we offer a wide range of mine air heating solutions available to condition air for safe and productive underground mining operations.

We are looking for Welder Fitter to join our team.

What Will You Do?

Welder Fitters are skilled trade workers who place and weld materials together from blueprints or drawings, ensuring that every product meets strict quality control standards. The candidate must be able to clearly interpret and understand blueprints, drawings and weld symbols and fabricate accordingly.

Main tasks:

Weld and fit products according to specified blueprints and procedures

Build products from blueprints and ensure internal quality measures are applied

Conduct initial inspections of product to ensure adherence to safety and quality

Organize and maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area in a professional and safe manner

Adhere to all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.

Other duties as assigned

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

Ability to work in a fast-paced environm,ent, complete repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods of time

Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications and technical manuals

Able to use overhead crane

Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination with strong attention to detail

Excellent English communications skills

Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and time-management skills

Strong team player

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

Ability to lift 23kg (50 lbs).

Your Experience Should Be…

High School Diploma and/or Welder Trade certification

3-5 years of welding and/or fitting experience

Experience with various steel alloys or Fitting of thin gauge stainless steel
