Make an impact as we look to strengthen our Digital Resiliency team with an Analyst, Incident Management. As a trusted advisor, you’ll enable clients to take a proactive and prepared approach to cyber crime and capitalize on new technologies and innovations to deliver business results as well as build and maintain customer trust. You will use a tailored approach to investigate threats, develop policies and enhance infrastructure to minimize the impact of security-related events and protect clients’ business operations and reputation.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver industry and technical expertise in information security through client interactions, reports, technical work, management presentations and the creation of high-quality deliverables
  • Execute transactions through the provision of client services including planning, budgeting, scheduling and coordinating engagements
  • Facilitate collaboration with client engagement team prior to commencement of client work to discuss roles and responsibilities, risk areas, materiality and deadlines
  • Identify ways to maximize the relationship with clients and deliver added value
  • Maintain high quality control by reviewing work done from other team members for accuracy and completeness; provide feedback to team members
  • Monitor project timelines against targets, adjust where necessary; advise clients of project status
  • Network and take a leadership role in the professional, business and local community while raising awareness of MNP and looking for new business development opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
  • Assist in the development and training of team members

Skills and Experience

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • Working towards a CISSP, CISA, CISM and/or other related certifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in security & privacy services
  • Minimum 1 year of experience defining and implementing cyber security services & solutions
  • Excellent understanding of Cyber Security Services (penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, TRA’s, PCI, etc.) and Solutions (NGFW, IPS, 2-factor authentication, SIEM, networking etc.), including architecting, configuration and installation
  • Experience with Creating and Delivering Cyber Security Services (i.e., TRA’s, PCI, Pen Testing, Cyber maturity Assessments, Cyber Security Risk Assessments for Cloud, Incident response/forensics, NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP), etc.)
  • Understanding of Security and Privacy regulatory/legislative compliance (OSFI, Interac, PCI, PIPEDA, etc.)
  • Understanding of IT security and governance frameworks, such as ISO 27001/2 and COBIT
  • Experience with architecting, configuration and delivering technology-based controls.
  • Security Clearance is considered an asset and will be required
  • Some travel required

This is a current opportunity with an ideal hiring range of between $60,000 to $72,000 per year, depending on experience and skills.
