##What will your typical day look like?

The Senior Specialist, Organizational Design and Effectiveness (OD&E) will work closely with senior Global executives, People CoEs and Advisory teams and Deloitte Global enabling areas, supporting the delivery of business initiatives and special projects across Deloitte Global.

The OD&E Senior Specialist will contribute to operating model design and related programs supporting a variety of strategic initiatives and special projects across Deloitte Global. A core focus of this role is supporting how the organization leverages opportunities and addresses challenges presented by AI and automation.

Activities include facilitating leadership working sessions to refine redesign intent and objectives, supporting the development of capability models and operating model components, and conducting data-driven assessments and detailed design—integrating AI and automation considerations throughout.

The OD&E Senior Specialist will support leadership transitions, contribute to implementation activities, and help embed new, AI-enabled ways of working. This role is analytical, collaborative, and delivery-focused, offering the opportunity to contribute to high-impact work within a global organization. The ideal candidate will have a background in organizational design, organizational effectiveness, project management, organizational analytics, and executive communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support multiple organization design, people initiatives, and strategic projects—including those focused on integrating AI and automation—by collaborating with specialists, consultants, the Global People Centers of Excellence, and stakeholders across business units.

  • Conduct current state assessments, analyze findings, and contribute to the development of recommendations and design solutions with a focus on the impact and adoption of AI and automation within operating models and workforce structures.

  • Assist in defining project scope, developing workplans, and executing on strategic and operational initiatives. Act as a change agent by applying stakeholder analysis and change management techniques, including the development of change management plans, stakeholder maps, and communication strategies.

  • Build strong relationships and collaborate across the People organization to identify and address current and future people-related initiatives.

  • Identify risks and challenges and contribute to developing practical, actionable solutions. Support multiple projects concurrently, partnering with People leaders, team members, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.

  • Participate in cross-functional working groups to address complex organizational issues and develop effective solutions.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, track risks, and report progress against milestones to ensure initiatives remain on schedule.

  • Utilize organization design tools such as Orgvue and AI-driven analytics platforms to generate insights and support decision-making

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or equivalent required

  • 5+ years of experience in a Human Capital, Strategy Consulting, and/or Org Design role for a large, global, matrixed organization

  • Experience in change management, operating model redesign, and organizational design, preferably on global projects/initiatives

  • Strong consultative skills and client service orientation

  • Experience leveraging AI-driven tools and data analytics platforms (e.g., Orgvue, Workday, Tableau, or similar) in organizational design or organizational effectiveness projects

  • Familiarity with the impact of AI and automation on operating models, workforce structures, and ways of working

  • Ability to interpret AI-generated insights to inform organizational design recommendations and strategic decisions

  • Demonstrated interest in staying current with emerging trends in AI, digital transformation, and the future of work

  • Strong project coordination and delivery skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Able to manage competing, high-priority demands; prioritizing workload, and multiple responsibilities against strict deadlines

  • Ability to establish credibility and rapport with stakeholders globally and in a virtual environment

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to prepare executive-ready materials, including mastery of PowerPoint and Excel

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented culture

  • Able to navigate a global, matrixed, and mostly virtual environment for effective outcomes

  • High comfort level in ambiguous situations; able to learn quickly and exercise judgment in situations where data may be elusive

Other Qualifications Preferred:

  • Relevant post-graduate level degree desired

  • Experience in Organizational Design, Organizational Effectiveness, Change Management, or Workforce Transformation,

  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives

  • Strong proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools

  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

##Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $69,000 - $114,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
