Job Description

Hiring Now: SAGD Maintenance Crew – Multiple Trades

Journeyperson Pipefitters | Equipment Operators | Forepersons | General Forepersons
Conklin / Christina Lake Area, AB
$500 Referral Bonus

FLINT is hiring experienced industrial maintenance professionals for a live SAGD facility in Northern Alberta. We are looking for skilled trades and leaders with oil sands, SAGD, or heavy industrial maintenance experience.

Schedule & Perks

  • 7/7 rotation (7 days on / 7 days off)
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Camp accommodation provided
  • $300/week travel pay
  • Benefits after 300 hours worked
  • $500 referral bonus for qualified hires

Ideal Experience

  • SAGD or oil sands facilities
  • Live plant / operating facility maintenance
  • Piping maintenance, valve work, line breaks, mechanical support
  • Experience working under LOTO and permit systems

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years industrial or Oil and Gas experience

  • Relevant trade certification or supervisory experience depending on the role

  • Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:

    • H2S Alive
    • Aerial Work Platform
    • Confined Space Entry
    • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
    • Fall Protection
    • Standard First Aid
    • WHMIS
  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.

  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.

  • Must have own reliable transportation to site.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
