Back-up Buyer, Handle USP Compliance, Diversion Investigations, Pyxis Inventory Projects, Compliance and Regulatory monitoring. Other duties as assigned.

Here’s What You Need
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Experience 1 Year hospital pharmacy tech experience Required 3 Years in a Texas Health hospital pharmacy preferred Licenses and Certifications RPhT - Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required What You Will Do Timely and accurate preparation, delivery & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so. Initial and ongoing training of pharmacy technicians to obtain and maintain competency to reflect current practice guidelines. Creating and managing the pharmacy technician schedule including covering open shifts as needed. Ongoing professional development and growth. Assisting with regulatory requirements including ensuring required pharmacy quality assurance documentation is recorded as appropriate. Ensuring accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation. Must reflect consistently departmental quality improvement and patient safety standards, programs and initiatives.
Communicate effectively, develop working relationships and role model teamwork
Manage own time and shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.
