About the role
Tomlinson Group of Companies is seeking an experienced and motivated Janitorial Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of janitors to ensure that our facilities are clean and well-maintained. The successful candidate will serve as a working supervisor, actively collaborating with and supporting their team on day-to-day tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Train and supervise a team of janitors to ensure that they are meeting cleaning standards
-
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures
-
Inspect and evaluate the work of janitors to ensure that it meets quality standards
-
Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
-
Handle and resolve customer complaints related to cleaning services
-
Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
-
Prepare and submit reports on the cleaning activities and performance of the team
-
Drive company vehicle to perform cleaning duties as required
-
Other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in janitorial or custodial work
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid G driver's license with a clear driving abstract
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
