ACCOUNTABILITIES

Estimator and Order Desk Roles

  • Reading blueprints/Spec sheets/Addendums/Exterior Color sheets/Change orders and body of the email for quoting and revisions to quotes purposes.
  • Take offs from plans (Blueprints) for quoting and revisions to quotes using ERP software.
  • Finding errors or discrepancies in various plans and spec sheets.
  • Reporting discrepancies in PO amount and quote amount.
  • Ordering the products once PO received.
  • Follow-up with customers on various department needs.
  • Working on change-orders and collecting variance PO.
  • Preparing Master Quotes for volume builders.

Customer Service

  • Act as the main point of contact for volume builders, offering product selections as needed.
  • Take payment information and other pertinent information.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email and in person.
  • Address customer and team member communications in a timely and professional manner.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION

  • High School Diploma
  • “Architectural Technology, and Construction Engineering Technology” background is an asset

EXPERIENCE / CAPABILITIES

  • 1+ years’ experience in working on house blueprints (elevation and floor plans).
  • 1+ years+ Customer Service experience.
  • Understand the construction side of business.
  • Previous experience in window and door industry.
  • Fast and adaptive to various ERP solutions.
