About the role

Programmer Analyst (Permanent, Full-Time) Location: Peterborough, ON

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Rate of Pay: Dependent on experience

Position Description As a Programmer Analyst, you will:

  • Develop, support, and maintain system applications.
  • Develop system documents, application specifications & design documents, process/workflow diagrams, technical manuals and assist in the creation of project timelines.
  • Communicate and collaborate with departments and various stakeholders.
  • Develop, analyze and execute system quality assurance plans.
  • Work closely with Information Systems team, third-party vendors, management, and business groups to design and implement applications or enhancements.
  • Maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of required programming languages, web technologies, debug and web developer tools and database systems.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education with an emphasis in Computer Programming or Computer Science
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Programmer Analyst
  • Previous experience in the financial industry is a strong asset
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
