Title: Administrative Assistant
Salary: $59,140 - $63,837 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: Chilliwack, BC, located on the ancestral territories of the Stó:lo Nations - Hybrid
Bargaining Unit: PSAC Local 22000 (Public Service Alliance of Canada)
About the role
As Administrative Assistant, you will be providing a variety of administrative, financial, and program support services to the Environmental Health team.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have/be –
Education and Experience
- Post-secondary education in Office Administration plus 1 year of administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Skills and Abilities
- Basic knowledge of First Nations communities and related issues.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to research and analyze information effectively.
- Proven organizational skills, including workload prioritization and the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and data management systems, including data entry, manipulation, and retrieval.
