Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) - Independent Contractor

Location: Children Support Clinic, Aurora, ON

Schedule: Part-time - Evenings & Saturdays

Our team and what we'll accomplish together
At Children Support, a TELUS Health initiative, we’re more than a network of clinics – we’re a community of dedicated professionals committed to transforming the lives of children and their families. Our multidisciplinary team specializes in screening, assessment, and individualized interventions, tailoring every approach to each child’s unique journey.

As an Independent Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA), you will contract with TELUS Health to provide Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) services. In this role, you will independently oversee program design, clinical delivery, and intervention strategies for children and their families. You will apply your professional judgment to guide treatment planning, deliver direct intervention as appropriate, and provide consultation to caregivers and team members. Your expertise will help achieve measurable outcomes, promote skill development, and empower families navigating developmental and behavioural needs.

What You'll Do

As an Independent Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA), you may be engaged to provide the following professional services:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments (e.g., Functional Behaviour Assessments, VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R).
  • Design, implement, and oversee individualized ABA treatment and behaviour support plans.
  • Review and analyze program data, adjusting interventions to optimize client outcomes.
  • Provide clinical consultation and supervision to Supervised Instructor & Senior Therapists, and other team members as appropriate.
  • Deliver services in alignment with professional, ethical, and evidence-based standards.
  • Collaborate with families, interdisciplinary professionals, and community partners to support client progress.
  • Offer clinical mentorship and consultation to support the skill development of therapy staff.
  • Conduct Functional Analyses to address maladaptive behaviours and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage caseload scheduling, documentation, and reporting in accordance with agreed-upon systems and processes.

What You Bring:

  • Master’s degree in Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Certification recognized under provincial regulation (e.g., CPBO); professionals previously certified through BACB are included.
  • RBA designation with supervisory capacity over Behaviour Therapists.
  • Demonstrated experience in assessments and ABA program development for children.
  • Strong communication, consultation, and organizational skills.
  • Availability to contract for evening and Saturday services.
  • Current professional liability insurance.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Screening.
