Description
Warehouse attendants provide an outstanding experience for our guests. They are responsible for moving product up and down the mountain and to internal locations as well as answering guest queries. This is a physical position requiring manual labour, lifting, and carrying.
Essential Functions
- Provide excellent guest service.
- Checking orders from outlets, filling orders, and delivering in a timely manor.
- Responsible for moving Hotel Luggage and linen up and down the gondola.
- Need to be a self-starter, helping with odd projects and equipment issues.
- Able to answer questions about the mountain and operations.
- Other duties as assigned
Experience/Requirements

Must be over the age of 21 upon commencement of position to meet insurance requirements. Additional insurance requirements include providing a clean driver’s abstract and proof of an Alberta Drivers’ License (within 90 days of becoming an Alberta resident).

Please note: any fees for obtaining an Alberta Driver’s license are incurred by the applicant.

Willing to work outside in all weather conditions.

Energetic, self-motivated and positive attitude.

Excellent time management, problem, solving and teamwork skills.

Forklift license is considered an asset.

Previous Warehouse/ stock room work Trade skills (i.e. mechanical or labourer work) an asset.

Additional Considerations
-
Candidates are required to provide and maintain CSA approved safety footwear. Required outdoor uniform pieces (High Visibility Jacket/Pants, liner, toque) are provided.This position requires the ability to stand for long periods of time, walking on even and uneven surfaces, constant trunk rotation, frequent lifting (up to 25kg), pushing/pulling (up to 45kg), kneeling, crouching. Occasionally climb inclined stairs and ladders up to 4m. Hiking and moving around in an alpine environment.

Employees must always be of sound mind, exhibit good judgment, and report to work fit for duty.

This role maintains/operates machinery, off road/highway vehicles, and works around moving equipment.

This role has potential exposure to industrial chemicals e.g., Fuels, grease, oil, ice melt.
This role is subject to all terms and conditions of the Sunshine Village Employee Handbook, Policy Manual, and Employment Standards Code.
