Job Requirements
Registered in good standing with the College of ECE or ECE Student Educational Assistant/Child and Youth Studies/Concurrent Education Student or Graduate - Holder of a valid Standard First Aid and CPR “C” Certificate. Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check- Vulnerable Sector (within 6 months) Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting Strong communication skills, both verbal and written up to date immunization record
Job Description
to start, this job is supply staff for vacations/staff illness etc; with the potential to lead to a full time teaching position once our second child care centre is open.
Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
Provide individualized attention and support to meet the needs of each child - Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
