Who we're looking for:
Rogers is seeking Manager, Cyber Security Platform to join our team and play a critical role in strengthening platform reliability and security across our technology ecosystem. In this position, you will lead initiatives to enhance operational patterns, processes, and procedures, ensuring our platforms maintain the highest standards of resiliency and readiness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to drive operational excellence, support cybersecurity objectives, and deliver actionable insights through KPIs and reporting.
What you'll do:
- Develop new or improve operational patterns, processes, and procedures
- Constantly review current state to determine platforms resiliency posture.
- Assess and recommend augmentation of operational readiness for the supported portfolio
- Ensure procedural task’s quality and timely delivery
- Participate and support in the establishment of yearly platforms currency and support roadmaps
- Define resiliency exercises (Table-top tests) to support change management and operational readiness
- Liaise with various suppliers and internal technology, engineering, and other operations groups to satisfy day-to-day operational activities and project needs
- Provide technical support to SOC, intelligence, GRC and IAM teams.
- Effectively communicate operational status, risks, and recommendations to a diverse audience from technical staff to senior leadership
- Follow up and drive to conclusion actions and plans regarding operational resiliency and platform health
- Measure platform’s health and team’s performance by means of KPIs. Provide timely and meaningful reports
What you bring:
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study
- 3+ years of technology leadership in a diverse IT security environment.
- Direct experience with managing server-based and SaaS/Cloud applications in scope of cybersecurity
- Experience with information security, cyber security, and privacy issues and awareness of regulated data environments (i.e.: PCI, SOX, SOC-2)
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills to effectively communicate with varying audiences, including senior executives and technology peers
- Able to analyze complex security issues and provide pragmatic options and recommendations.
- Strong business and technical acumen
- Can direct and manage multiple priorities in high pressure situations
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams, achieve goals, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC or similar certification and training is an asset.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in O365 applications (Visio, M365 Power platforms)
- Experience with data formats (JSON, YAML, XML).
- Working knowledge of KQL databases
- Experience with IT ticketing systems ServiceNow , JIRA, Numerify
- Fundamental understanding of I/P/SaaS, Public & Private Cloud, Virtualization technologies.
- Programing/Scripting knowledge in SQL / Java / Python / PowerShell / an asset
