Job Title: Tourism Assistant (Remote)
Location: Remote (Worldwide) Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Salary: $5500 – $8,500 (based on experience and responsibilities)
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Tourism Assistant to support travel and tourism-related operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. This remote role provides the opportunity to work with a dynamic team while assisting clients in creating memorable travel experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and coordinating travel itineraries, tours, and events
Provide information and guidance to clients regarding destinations, attractions, and travel logistics
Manage bookings for accommodations, transportation, tours, and activities
Maintain accurate records of client preferences, bookings, and payments
Handle customer inquiries and provide prompt, professional support
Coordinate with tour operators, vendors, and service providers
Conduct research on destinations, travel trends, and tourism opportunities
Prepare reports, proposals, and promotional materials as needed
Ensure smooth operations for all client travel arrangements
Requirements & Qualifications
Previous experience in tourism, travel planning, or customer service
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Knowledge of popular travel destinations and tourism services
Proficiency with online booking platforms, Google Workspace, and communication tools
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Reliable internet connection and suitable home workspace
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of visa requirements, travel insurance, and international travel regulations
Familiarity with CRM or tourism management software
Experience in customer support, tour coordination, or hospitality
Passion for travel and providing exceptional customer experiences
