Job Description Overview This role is part of AtkinsRéalis Architecture & Design Canada Inc., bringing together expertise in architectural design and project delivery across Canada. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join our rapidly growing team – plenty of room for upward movement and personal growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture, architectural technology, building sciences and a passion for innovative design solutions. You will work on projects through all phases and be involved in collaboration with clients, managers and consultant teams. This is a great opportunity for an individual that is looking for long-term growth and interest in designing highly complex institutional facilities. Your role Developing designs and technical solutions. Prepare complete design drawing packages for presentations, permits, tender, and construction. Construction Administration. Utilize proficient Revit skills to develop detailed architectural plans. Apply comprehensive understanding of Building Codes and civic planning processes. Demonstrate flexibility with tasks and priorities to meet project deadlines. Collaborate effectively with co-workers, maintaining a congenial attitude. About you Architectural Technologist degree from an accredited Canadian institution. Minimum of 8-15 years of North American experience. Proficient in Revit and other supporting software. Knowledge of construction methodology, building assemblies, building science, materials application and interpretation of manufacturers' requirements. Strong background with Institutional projects. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to participate and collaborate effectively in project team settings.
