About the role
Join our team as a Planning and Scheduling Coordinator and play a pivotal role in production planning process. We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to determine current and future production needs, and ensuring forecast requirements are met while balancing manufacturing and material requirements.
What You Get To Do:
You would be expected to work toward the MRP Team and OKR Targets:
- 99% On Time Production
- 99% Inventory Accuracy of Finished Goods & Raw Materials
- Stock-outs
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working as a member of the MRP Planning & Scheduling team
- Evaluating material requirements to meet sales demand
- Scheduling and releasing work orders
- Daily - Ensuring production reporting is accurate and timely
- Daily - Ensuring inventory management processes are followed
- Validating inventory through cycle counts
- Daily Kanban counts and replenishment
- Creating Purchase Orders based on MRP suggestions and maintaining accurate Expected Receipt dates
- Closing Purchase Orders that have no more items to receive
- All other duties as required
What You Bring To The Team:
- Undergraduate degree, college diploma or equivalent experience
- 2+ years’ experience in project coordination, planning, scheduling or customer care
- Manufacturing industry experience is an asset
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal English) skills, as well as the ability to motivate and influence
- Comfortable with change and able to pivot in a high growth environment
- Passion for continuous learning and personal and professional development
