Job Description

FLINT is seeking a Field Operator with industrial experience for a temporary job in Peace River, AB starting ASAP. In this position, you will enjoy a 7 Days In & 7 Days Out work schedule,12-hour workdays, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.

This position does not include camp accommodations, living out allowance, or travel allowance. Therefore, it is best suited forlocal candidates; however, those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Field Operator in an industrial setting.

  • Must have 4th class power engineer certification.

  • Possess extensive knowledge of all facets of operations.

  • Ability to safely operate various machinery on site, take pressure and flow readings, compute and record data, adjust valves, maintain meticulous workspaces, and perform minor equipment maintenance.

  • Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:

    • H2S Alive
    • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
    • Standard First Aid
  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.

  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.

  • Must have own reliable transportation to site.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
