THE ROLE We are currently hiring for a reputable packaging and printing manufacturer in the Greater Toronto Area that specializes in high-volume envelope and label production. They are seeking an experienced Envelope / Press Adjuster to join their production team.
ADVANTAGES
- Starting Pay $68 - $75 based on expereince
- 10 hour shifts - Monday – Thursday 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
- Group benefits (employee pays 25%, company pays 75%)

- 2 weeks starting
- 3 weeks after one year
- Potentially negotiable

Responsibilities
- Review job orders and specifications such as production time, color sequence, and quantities required.
- Set up and adjust printing or converting machines to meet production requirements.
- Install and align printing plates, cylinders, and tooling.
- Monitor press runs and make mechanical and computer-controlled adjustments to maintain quality and consistency.
- Inspect printed products to ensure proper registration, alignment, and ink coverage.
- Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of machines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical or production issues during press runs.
- Direct or assist press crew during setups and production runs.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following company safety procedures.
Requirements
- Experience operating flexographic, envelope converting, or printing equipment a must.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read production orders and technical specifications.
- Comfortable working with computer-controlled machine consoles.
- Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- This type of Adjuster role is considered mechanical machine setup and operation, not purely automated.
