Capital Strategy and Support provides executive management, direction, strategic planning, and operational oversight in support of the department’s capital program and the division’s mandate. Delivers administrative and financial services to the division including establishing and maintaining effective administrative and financial processes and practices, research, analysis, and issues management support for the division.

Qualifications:
Essential
- Post- secondary education in administration. A combination of education, training and related experience may be considered
- Significant direct work experience in a more senior administrative capacity, including coordinating responses, drafting correspondence, and working with sensitive and confidential information
- Experience conducting research, including analyzing, interpreting information
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare written reports, correspondence to both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a flexible approach to workload and competing deadlines
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and follow through and complete overlapping projects
- Knowledge and understanding of administrative and financial requirements and processes
- Proficient in using Microsoft and Adobe applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe DC) as well as SharePoint and Teams
Desired
- Experience working with SAP in the timekeeping, finance and procurement roles
- Experience using Shared Information Management System (SIMS) with a demonstrated ability to serve as lead responder and coordinator of requests for the division and provide training to new users
Duties:
The Division Executive Clerk is responsible for providing highly professional, complex, and confidential analytical financial and administrative services, as well as program management to the Infrastructure Capital Projects Division. This position also provides program management in the division related to department’s capital projects and/or capital program.
