As an MEP Operations Lead within the Building and Operations team at Pomerleau Construction, you play a key role in coordinating mechanical and electrical activities across large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion. Your expertise ensures smooth execution and compliance, while supporting project teams with technical leadership and proactive problem-solving
What you will do

Provide strategic support to project teams by planning and coordinating all on-site mechanical and electrical activities, ensuring compliance with specifications, requirements, and codes.

Apply proactive problem-solving skills to coordinate drawings and technical information, eliminating interference issues.

Maintain organization of schedule requirements and priorities, mechanical and electrical RFIs, shop drawings, contracts, and project completion documents.

Collaborate extensively with team members, trade partners, consultants, and clients, sharing your mechanical and electrical expertise.

Act as the point person for organizing and facilitating mechanical and electrical coordination and interference meetings.

Prepare and compile project reports as required.
This role could be for you if you have
- 5 years of mechanical and electrical experience in the construction industry
- A university degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience
- A proven track record of mechanical and electrical coordination and team collaboration
