Looking for a rewarding career where you can share your expertise in a Manager Portfolio Management Office (PMO) Enterprise Architecture capacity? As a valued member of our team, reporting directly to the Chief Information and Technology Officer (CITO) you will collaborate closely with a dynamic group of operational teams, including branch directors and senior management. Candidate must have certification achieved in Enterprise Architecture.

##What You’ll Do

###You’ll act with integrity to:

  • Unify enterprise architecture governance with program and portfolio management, driving modernization, with rigorous and disciplined planning, and evidence‑based decision making.
  • Lead modernization efforts in the areas such as cloud adoption, system consolidation, application replacement, data platform evolution, and technical debt reduction, are executed with precision, architectural alignment, and organizational readiness.
  • Works closely with Senior Management and Assembly Directors to identify and schedule technology projects.
  • Develop and implement the tools and processes to collect, maintain, and report the information required to manage the Assembly’s information management and information technology projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and are compatible with the Assembly’s digital infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement standards, processes, and information requirements to ensure efficient and effective project and portfolio management and reporting, including establishing and tracking KPIs to measuring program outcomes.
  • Communicate project status updates, activities, decisions, strategies and policies to stakeholders as they relate to information and technology projects under the purview of the PMO, as well as present architecture strategies, business cases, and technical trade-offs to senior management.
  • Provide architecture leadership: define and evolve the enterprise architecture strategy, frameworks, and standards aligned with business objectives and long-term organizational goals.

###You’ll support our collaboration as you:

  • Supports the CITO to transform the Assembly’s technology landscape, ensuring investments support both current operational needs and the Assembly’s long-term modernization strategy
  • Facilitate architecture review boards and governance councils with senior leadership, and negotiate competing priorities to drive consensus across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Mentor solution architects, technical leads, and emerging project management talent, helping to build architecture community of practice, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

##How You Qualify

###You demonstrate excellence through your:

  • Completion of a university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field and 5 + years of experience in managing information technology and/or information management projects and initiatives.
  • Enterprise Architecture certification (such as TOGAF, Zachman, BIZBOK) required.
  • 10 years progressive IT experience with minimum 5 years in enterprise architecture roles, and 5+ years leading large-scale transformation programs in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, cloud platforms and strategies, and architecture tools.
  • Proven track record managing blended teams across internal and external resources.
  • Knowledge and experience in implementing professional project management and business analysis practices in general and specific to information management and software design.
  • Expertise in data architecture, cybersecurity principles, and infrastructure modernization.
  • Ability to identify key technology and process business requirements and think strategically about the information and technology needs of the Assembly and the MPPs. Has an understanding of the intersection between information and technology and how they support and integrate with each other.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication and negotiation skills with the ability to interact effectively with multiple stakeholders at varying levels
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills; ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences.
  • Self-motivation, enthusiasm and ability to work with minimum supervision.
