Guest Services Description
At the Calgary Stampede, our Guest Experience, Park Admissions & Parking teams are diverse and outgoing, always looking to lend a helping hand, and provide the best experience to all of our guests at all times. The Guest Experience, Park Admissions & Parking teams provide enthusiastic customer service, resolve issues in a courteous manner, and contribute to Stampede’s world-renowned western hospitality. These roles may include cash handling, greeting and assisting guests around park, selling or scanning tickets, and providing directions. Here at the Stampede, we provide exceptional service to our guests, clients, and internal departments.
These positions are seasonal roles for the Calgary Stampede celebration in July 2026.
Responsibilities
Examples of the qualities and responsibilities of our Guest Experience, Park Admissions & Parking teams can include, but are not limited to:
- Demonstrating an outgoing and friendly personality
- Providing exceptional customer service to all guests in a prompt and courteous manner
- Adhering to all safety and environmental programs and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
- Keeping areas of work clean and presentable
- Answering guest inquiries and providing information and directions to areas on park
- Processing payments and transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handling and reconciling cash floats
- Scanning tickets
Positions that work with the Stampede's Guest Experience, Park Admissions & Parking teams can include:
- Gate Attendant
- Gate Cashier
- Guest Ambassador/Customer Service Representative
- Parking Attendant
- Usher
- Cashier
Please note that all applicants will be required to:
- Be 18 years of age or older by June 2026
- Be legally entitled to work for any employer in Canada
- Have a Social Insurance Number
- Have a bank account in their own name
- Must successfully participate in a criminal background check
- Be available to work for all 10 days of the Calgary Stampede
- Complete and comply with all required training and policies
