About the role:

ETRO Construction is seeking a Pre-Construction Project Coordinator: to join our Preconstruction team. This role plays a vital part in the early stages of project delivery - supporting preconstruction activities through detailed document review, scope coordination, and cross-department collaboration. The Preconstruction Project Coordinator ensures technical accuracy, scope completeness, and smooth knowledge transfer between the preconstruction and construction teams, working closely with Estimating, VDC, Pre-Fab, and Sustainability.

What you'll do:

• Support concept budget development and value engineering in collaboration with Estimating.

• Track and coordinate scope details between trades, identifying gaps or overlaps.

• Lead bid leveling and assist with trade qualification documentation.

• Prepare and maintain project logs, risk registers, and coordination markups.

• Assist with early project scheduling, site logistics, and internal department integration.

• Participate in client and consultant meetings, recording minutes and tracking deliverables.

• Ensure seamless project handover by organizing documentation and supporting onboarding of construction teams.

• Contribute to company learning initiatives and continuous improvement in preconstruction workflows.

What you bring:

• Education: Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in preconstruction or project coordination.

• Technical: Proficiency in Bluebeam, Google Workspace, and 3D coordination tools; familiarity with MS Project and estimating software.

• Knowledge: Strong technical understanding of building systems and documentation processes.

• Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities.

• Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
