Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is seeking a detail-oriented, adaptable*, dedicated*individual to join our team as a PACS Administrator. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a highly technical, and dynamic environment.

Who you are

You have a worked in Medical Imaging and or Health Information Technology for a minimum of 6 years. You are a graduate of a Radiological Technology Program and registered with the New Brunswick Regulatory College of Medical Radiation Technologists OR a university degree in computer science or a related field. You hold a Lean Six Sigma Certificate. You have experience computer applications and/or Clinical Information Systems and demonstrated proficiency in medical terminology as verified by testing.

Written and spoken competence in English is required at an advanced level.

What you will do

The PACS Administrator is responsible for:

  • Installing, managing, configurating, and optimizing critical medical imaging systems
  • Ensuring effective operation and seamless integration with regional and provincial platforms.
  • Ensuring reliable connectivity, data integrity, and system functionality to support clinical workflows across the network.
  • Maintaining critical operations, assessing risks, developing continuity plans, and fostering a culture of preparedness across the network
  • Leading the enhancement of operational efficiency and improving medical imaging workflows both within the department and across the organization.
