What You’ll Do

Leadership in a Fast-Paced Retail & Yard Environment

• Oversee daily store and yard operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe workflows.
• Inspire and lead employees across sales and yard teams with coaching, training, and accountability.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving profitability, sales growth, and operational excellence.

Contractor & Trade Partner Relationships

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with contractors and trade professionals.
• Support contractor needs through timely order fulfillment, yard coordination, and problem resolution.
• Collaborate with contractors on project requirements, ensuring accurate material selection, load securement, and delivery scheduling.
• Act as a trusted point of contact, helping contractors succeed while driving repeat business.

Inventory & Merchandising Oversight

• Monitor inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and manage product flow.
• Ensure engaging product presentation and merchandising throughout the store and yard.
• Analyze consumer and contractor purchasing trends to optimize product selection and store performance.

Customer Service Excellence

• Deliver an outstanding customer experience by being present, approachable, and solutions-focused.
• Handle customer and contractor concerns quickly and professionally.
• Support sales initiatives by aligning product knowledge, promotions, and team execution.

Health & Safety Compliance

• Champion health and safety across the store and yard.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and safe work practices.
• Lead by example in maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for our teams, contractors, and customers.

What You Will Bring

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams.
• Retail or yard operations experience, with a proven track record of customer and contractor service excellence.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in numeric analysis and comfort with sales/office software.
• Diplomacy, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
