Engineering and R&D Intern - Electrical Measurements & Failure Analysis (12 month contract)

Your Tasks:
- Perform electrical measurements on instrument transformer components to assess conformity with specifications.
- Interpret test results to identify failed components and evaluate the direct causes of failures.
- Record and communicate findings to the electrical designer and recommend solutions for material quality or process improvements.
- Conduct thorough failure analyses and create rework orders for the production department and test laboratories.
- Follow work instructions and suggest improvements to work practices and failure detection methods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring adherence to safety standards while working on the production floor.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in electrical measurement, testing, and diagnostics, particularly in high-voltage equipment or related fields.
- Proficiency in interpreting test results and performing failure analyses.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve issues.
- Basic knowledge of electrical safety practices and the ability to work safely.
- Technical diploma or certification in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work independently on the production floor and collaborate effectively with other departments.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with strong documentation skills to maintain test records and report findings.
