About Ground Force:
Ground Force is a full-service landscaping company that has been working in local communities for over 15 years. We specialize in bringing visions to life both big and small—anything to do with your outdoor space, we can tackle. Alongside our experienced team, we have strong partnerships with some of the province’s best landscape architects. Whether we’re working with residential or commercial clients, our focus is delivering a beautifully finished product that exceeds your expectations.
Pay rate: $20-$27/hr
To start immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead crew members, providing guidance, instruction, and support
- Prep job sites, including grading, excavation, and compaction
- Install pavers, retaining walls, stone patios, ect
- Operate and maintain hardscape equipment; Excavators, tampers, cut-off saws, skid steers, ect.
- Collaborate with PM's to ensure proper project execution
- Work with other divisions within the company to complete projects
- Read blueprints and site plans
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years hardscape experience (retaining walls, etc)
- Must have class 5 license and clean drivers abstract
- Be a team player
- Good organization and time management skills
- Can stand, walk, and bend for long hours
- Work outside in various weather conditions
- Be open to a variety of different tasks that can differ day-to-day
- Must be able to lift 50lbs+
