Job Title: IT Support Specialist (Part-Time, Students Welcome)

Job Type: Part-time (Opportunity: Full-time / Permanent Position)
Schedule: 2+ days/week | 4 – 6 hours/day
Pay rate: $26 to $30 per hour

Job Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and endpoint device issues.
- Deliver advanced-level support within Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, including user account administration and service configurations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of support procedures, asset inventory, and system configurations.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to escalate complex issues and support the implementation of infrastructure and process improvements.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a comprehensive internal knowledge base to enhance team efficiency and promote end-user self-service.
- Utilize a centralized ticketing system to manage, track, and resolve IT service requests and incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide both remote and on-site technical support, training, and guidance to end-users, ensuring a positive and professional support experience.
Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in an IT support role or equivalent technical support environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and Azure Active Directory
- Strong understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, and networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with ITSM tools or ticketing systems
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
Preferred:
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified, or equivalent
- Experience in asset and configuration management best practices
- Exposure to scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell) is an asset
