About the role
Company Description
Co:brand is a digital music marketing and management platform built by industry insiders to give artists true ownership and control of their careers. We provide the tools, insights, and support artists and their teams need to grow — through social media insights, precision advertising, and direct-to-fan engagement. Rooted in transparency, collaboration, and innovation, we're redefining what music marketing and data ownership look like. We're a tight-knit team headquartered in downtown Toronto, and we're building out the internal functions to match our growth.
Role Description
We're looking for a Finance Operations Coordinator to help keep our finance function running smoothly as we scale. This is a hands-on role where you'll own the day-to-day billing operations — submitting invoices through vendor portals, staying on top of receivables, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks month to month. You'll be working closely with a small team, which means real visibility into how a growing company manages its finances and plenty of opportunity to take on more over time.
What You'll Do
Submit and manage invoices through client and vendor portals Track outstanding receivables and follow up to keep accounts current Reconcile receivables to cash Help maintain organized, accurate financial records month to month Support the broader finance function as it grows and evolves Flag discrepancies and help identify ways to improve billing processes
Qualifications
Recently graduated with a university degree Highly organized and detail-oriented Comfortable working with numbers and customers, and not intimidated by process-heavy work Excited to grow with a company and take on more responsibility over time Clear communicator, both in writing and in person A self-starter who follows through without needing to be reminded
Why Co:brand
Get real finance experience at a fast-growing tech company early in your career Work in a collaborative, fun team environment where your contributions are visible and valued Learn the business side of the music industry from the inside Daily catered lunches and snacks at the office Downtown Toronto, in-person five days a week
Compensation
The compensation information, below, reflects our reasonable expectation for this role based on several factors, including current market conditions. Final compensation will be determined through individual assessment of experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-relevant factors.
