Do you enjoy being on the road, working outdoors, and taking on unique challenges? Our client is looking for a dynamic individual to serve as a pilot vehicle escort. You will play a key role in the safe transportation of oversized loads throughout Quebec, across Canada, and occasionally into the United States. Responsibilities
- Escort oversized-load convoys to ensure the safety of the driver, the cargo, and other road users.
- Verify routes, overhead clearances, and equipment compliance before each departure.
- Ensure compliance with permit conditions and help maintain smooth traffic flow during transport operations.
- Operate trailer steering axles during maneuvers when required.
- Assist drivers with loading, unloading, coupling, uncoupling, and load securement operations.
- Participate in yard operations, including trailer preparation and the installation of accessories, flooring, and tarps.
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report any equipment issues or irregularities.
- Support material handling and snow removal activities, and operate trailers using remote controls in port terminals when required.
- Follow all company health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with an excellent driving record and solid driving experience.
- Excellent driving abstract.
- Availability for short-, medium-, and long-term travel assignments ranging from one day to several weeks.
- Valid passport and eligibility to travel to the United States.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Salary: $25 to $29 per hour
Schedule: Day shift; variable based on travel requirements
