We are looking for a motivated Load Cell Repair Technician to join our team!
****The Load Cell Repair Technician is responsible for the initial investigation and reporting of the returned part and subsequent rework and is responsible for the quality of their own work.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and capable of independently setting up, operating, and following the repair processes in a production environment.
Responsibilities:
-
Clean incoming Load Cells and ADT’s.
-
Strip units down as required to do the inspection.
-
Inspect Load Cells and ADT’s according to prescribed procedures.
-
Complete the Repair Report which includes identification of faults and recommendations for repair to be approved by Engineering.
-
Clean, rework and re-cable of customer returned goods.
-
Manufacture cables for repair and new orders.
-
Cable attachment of new Load Cells
-
Recording of work completed using prescribed forms as required.
-
Other duties appropriate to this position.
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma required; post-secondary education in Machining, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field preferred.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, verniers, bore gauges, height gauges, DROs, etc.).

Knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection documentation.
-
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
-
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.
-
Able to lift 50 lbs., and to work in a manufacturing environment with a moderately noisy setting.
