Hybrid - Based out of Toronto**:**

Are you a natural communicator who is both authentic and outgoing? Do you thrive in dynamic environments and have a passion for engaging with people of all ages? If so, we want you on our team!

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Education and: Programs Ambassadors: to represent programming at educational events across Ontario. A majority of the outreach will take place on post-secondary campuses but there will also be activations in communities and at youth-focused events as well. If you have a genuine interest in connecting with people and you’re not afraid to strike up conversations with the public, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver an Exceptional Experience: Collaborate with your teammates to create engaging, inclusive, and memorable experiences in a variety of educational event settings.

  • Travel Ontario: Extensive travel throughout the province, including overnight stays (with accommodations provided).

  • Drive with Confidence: Share driving duties in an SUV or minivan with some tight timelines and over long distances - including winter conditions.

  • Set-Up and Tear-Down: Set up and dismantle branded displays. This includes physical tasks like lifting up to 60lbs (assisted).

  • Engage with the Public: Proactively approach and interact with event attendees (including youth, post-secondary students, and community members) in a friendly, informed, and non-judgmental manner.

  • Capture Content: Take high-quality photos and videos (sometimes appearing in them) to document event activations.

  • Stay Connected: Maintain consistent communication with the RGC program lead while on activations.

  • Represent the Brand: Act as a professional ambassador of the organization at all times.

  • Problem-Solving: Think quickly and adapt to troubleshoot any unexpected challenges during events.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong Communicators: Confident, personable, and able to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.

  • Self-Motivated and Reliable: Dependable and committed to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.

  • **Independent Yet Collaborative: :**Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a tight-knit team.

  • GTA-Based: Must be based in the core Toronto GTA to coordinate travel with teammates.

  • Experienced Driver: Must hold a valid full G driver’s license with a clean record, and comfort driving in varied road and weather conditions.

  • Physically Capable: Able to stand for extended periods and manage physical event setup and tear-down.

  • Team-Oriented: Thrives in a collaborative environment with shared goals.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Advanced English speaking and reading skills (required)

  • Fluency in French (major asset)

  • Fluency in other languages (bonus)

  • Experience in student leadership, health outreach, or youth programming

  • Interest or familiarity with sports, sports betting, or gambling education

  • Customer service or promotional marketing experience in public-facing roles

Contract Details:

  • Contract: Dates: September 2025 – March 2026

  • Hours: Non-traditional schedule; shifts range from 5–10 hours per day depending on event needs

  • Schedule: Shifts will be scheduled in advance; most work takes place Monday to Thursday, with some weekend travel or events required

  • Compensation: $25/hour, plus per diems and paid travel time
