About the role

Faculty/Department Faculty of Media, Art, and Performance Unit Media, Art, and Performance-Other Employee Group URFA CUPE 5791 Job Family Category Sessional Number of Vacancies 1 Position Summary

Examining the complex intersection of Meditation, Social Justice and Art, this course explores history, present-day movements, and future possibilities. Students will build a meditative practice to expand wellness as well as social awareness.

Position Requirements

The successful candidate must possess, at minimum, a terminal degree in a related field (Music, Visual Art, Film, Theatre or a Creative Technologies related field). Experience teaching at the University level in a related topic is preferred.

All applicants are required to provide details outlining how they will facilitate WEB-based instruction. Familiarity with URCourses and Zoom must be illustrated.

Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range As per URFA Collective Agreement Status Other Work Hours

MAP 200AK-991 is a scheduled for Mondays from 1900-2145 – remote synchronous delivery.
