Human Resources Administrator
The Human Resources Administrator will be the primary support of the end-to-end recruiting needs for entry level internal and external unionized and hourly positions.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:
- Post / advertise external vacancies as assigned.
- Review / screen incoming resumes.
- Schedule & conduct interviews both in person and video (if required).
- Conduct reference checks (if required).
- Complete the hiring process, for Unionized Staff Members, in compliance with the recruitment guidelines.
- Appropriately scan and electronically file new hire paperwork in an efficient manner.
- Perform a variety of tasks alongside the HR team (Events, Recruitment drives, Orientations, Career fairs, etc.) as requested.
- Write Employment Verification letters.
- Assist with Exit Interviews and offboarding.
- Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- You have a high degree of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Education in a Human resource Designation.
- Strong computer skills with experience using Microsoft products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- You have a positive attitude.
- You are strong with administration, organization, and have an attention to detail.
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- You are flexible and adaptable (can roll with the unexpected and change tasks when needed, while keeping sight of what is important).
- You can be both independent and self-motivated.
- You have the confidence to ask for help and a willingness to collaborate with your team.
