The Demand planning Analyst will actively contribute contributes to maintaining aircraft availability by ensuring the right parts are available at the right time at the optimal cost— while balancing service level, budget, and inventory growth. You will work at the intersection of maintenance operations, engineering, logistics, procurement, and finance, providing decision support and recommendations that influence inventory and supply chain outcomes, using our supply chain planning tools (e.g., Servigistics, TRAX) to turn data into decisions. You’ll join a dynamic, complex, high-impact supply chain environment with access to learning and development resources (e.g., LinkedIn Learning, mentorship, leadership development programs, health and wellbeing benefits).
Responsibilities
Own fleet transition and variation impact analyses, providing clear, methodical recommendations on spare parts strategy, surplus risk, and disposition opportunities. Translate supply chain modelling and forecasting outputs into actionable inventory strategies and recommendations that support operational readiness. Serve as a key decision support analyst to Maintenance, Engineering, Logistics, Procurement, and Finance by clearly articulating risks, options, and trade‑offs. Lead governance‑ready inventory reviews, ensuring leadership has timely visibility into service risks, financial impacts, and mitigation plans. Proactively manage inventory optimization levers (allotment strategy, redeployment, surplus reduction, asset pooling) to balance service levels, cost, and inventory growth. Continuously improve planning assumptions, data quality, and system usage, applying sound judgment when tool limitations or incomplete data exist.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of progressive experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain roles with increasing scope and autonomy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems, define a critical path, make sound assumptions, and translate analysis into clear recommendations. Solid understanding of inventory forecasting and supply planning principles, including their financial and operational impacts, preferably within an airline or MRO environment. Demonstrated ability to manage priorities effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines and commitments without close supervision. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present recommendations concisely, tailor messaging to the audience, and build alignment across cross-functional teams. Experience working in integrated, cross-functional supply chain environments involving Maintenance, Engineering, Logistics, Procurement, and Finance. Strong technical aptitude, with advanced Excel proficiency; experience with PowerBI and supply chain modeling and forecasting tools is an asset (e.g., Servigistics, TRAX, ERP/MRP systems). Ability to build productive working relationships, reach consensus, and resolve issues constructively with internal and external stakeholders. Flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities and operational constraints in a complex airline environment. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a highly autonomous environment, exercising sound judgment, taking ownership of decisions, and influencing outcomes across cross-functional stakeholder groups without formal authority.
Conditions of Employment
Candidates must be eligible to work in the country of interest at the time any offer of employment is made and are responsible for obtaining any required work permits, visas, or other authorizations necessary for employment.
